BBB 2005 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics
Charco Construction Company, founded in January 1966, is
a leading residential remodeling and construction company. Under the leadership of owner
Chuck Swimmer, the company has earned a reputation for superior levels of professionalism,
work quality and business ethics. Although the main focus of the company has been residential
remodeling, additional past work has included million-dollar custom homes, multifamily housing,
industrial parks, commercial office buildings and commercial tenant improvements. Recognizing
the ethical problems of many companies in the remodeling industry, Swimmer is determined that
his business stands out from the crown with its outstanding service, workmanship and fair
business practices. Voted San Diego's best remodeling contractor in the San Diego
Union-Tribune's Readers Poll for an impressive eleven years in a row, Charco has been
creating spectacular spaces for area homeowners for nearly four decades, totaling more than
7,000 projects to date.
